FAQs

How far in advance do I need to plan my florals?

That’s completely up to you! JenniFlora works with some couples who plan a year ahead of their wedding date, and some who plan a few months before their big day. Reach out as soon as possible to book your wedding date.

What is the average budget for a wedding?

Depending on the size and the quantity of flowers, most weddings begin at $10,000. I work with each couple to create a custom floral proposal based on their unique design needs.

Do you do site walk-throughs?

Yes, I love meeting the couples I work with and touring your venue together. It’s a great opportunity to dream together about the future floral design!

Where do our flowers come from?

The majority of flowers used in our design comes from our small family farm located in western Sonoma County. Other flowers and greens are sourced from members of the NorthBay Flower Collective, a network of flower farmers located within twenty miles of our farm, each of whom are committed to growing with seasonality and sustainability practices.

What is a “farmer-florist”?

If you take them apart, farmer and florist are easy. However when you put them together, it means JenniFlora grows most of the flowers used in floral design. As a farmer-florist, I grow annual and perennial flowers and foliage with my wedding couples in mind. That means I can cut flowers at their peak freshness, and arrange with the best possible blooms for your big day.

Why do I grow roses?

Roses stole my heart years ago. I don’t mean the stiff, red roses found in grocery stores imported from afar, but the ruffly, highly scented and unique heirloom varieties that make my heart flutter. Roses are ultra romantic and timeless in wedding floral design. Knowing they come from our family farm grown using sustainable practices make them even more lovely. I love sharing my rose passion with you, infusing garden roses in my designs.
